Manager, Technology Program Management
Overview
The Technology Program Manager will manage technology projects with our Ethoca products using established management processes in Mastercard in collaboration with stakeholders across the business. All the while continuously reviewing, updating, and optimizing the set of responsible projects. As well as, monitoring compliance with the established departmental goals and objectives.
Role
• Manage Project Management staff responsible for planning, monitoring, executing and implementing projects. • Assist in departmental budget development, strategic direction, and approval of labor spend. • Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to staff. Ensure personnel have appropriate skills and behaviors, and effectively communicate performance review results, as necessary. • Provide business knowledge and technical support for systems development. Work closely with project members and requesters identifying deliverables and functions throughout a project lifecycle. • Ensure the project or effort is adequately staffed, trained and managed. • Manage staff within approved manpower and budget guidelines. • Provide technical and advisory support for staff to ensure the development and implementation of applications. • Participate in the definition and development of project requirements and analyze requirements to provide a recommended solution. • Ensure a successful delivery, which may include: development and management of overall project plan, schedule & budget adherence, status reporting, escalations, testing, user approval, final corrections, and methodology compliance. • Manage relationship with project team throughout Global Technology Operations, which may include the project requesters. • Provide senior management level status reports. Log, track, and resolve projects, business or release related issues.
All About You
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. • Advanced degree and PMP preferred. • Demonstrated expertise in the areas of strategy, planning and project management required. • History of management consulting, financial services, e-Business and/or related areas. • Advanced knowledge of payment industry• A knack for analytical/problem solving and planning skills. • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships. • Project management background with knowledge of project management processes and techniques. • Solid experience with structured methodology and project planning tools. • Leadership Skills - conflict and resource management, financial management, process improvement orientation, relationship building and organizational and planning skills. • Communication Skills - listening, verbal, presentation and written. • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. • Demonstrate strong individual and team ethics. • Limited travel may be required.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in Canada, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive pay based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program.
