Job Title: Manager – Technology Procurement (Security & Networks)
Location: Bengaluru-Manyata Tech Park

The Group Procurement (GP) team supports Group Corporate Services to deliver leading practice procurement.
GP manages all activities across the procurement lifecycle, namely:
- Requirements gathering & strategy – identify opportunities to add value to the business
- Execution & negotiation – establish the best commercial deals for CBA
- Implement & transition
- Performance & governance – ensure maximum value is created from our external relationships.
Impact & Contribution: The Category Manager Procurement is responsible for supporting and co-managing procurement activities across a designated portfolio, including operational support and sourcing activities. The scope includes but is not limited to procurement projects related to Infrastructure Tech Procurement and Business Resilience.
GP team members are expected to perform all tasks in a manner consistent with CBA's Values, namely Courage, Care and Commitment.
Within the Infrastructure scope and business unit, the Category Manager manages activities including Stakeholder Relationship Management, Development of Procurement Strategies, Business Analytics, Sourcing Management, Contract & Supplier Management, and Risk & Compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for the Group Security procurement projects aligned with the Group Security BU.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver on agreed targets and objectives through the implementation of strategic or tactical procurement strategies/plans
- Develop effective performance management strategies across all sub-categories and major suppliers in line with the Supplier Governance Framework and in collaboration with the key business owners
- Interact directly with the Group Security stakeholders and business leaders to develop, manage and execute the agreed integration and procurement strategies
- Advocate compliance to Bank-wide and Procurement processes and technology.
Essential Skills:
- 11+ years‘ of experience in procurement.
- Previously demonstrated managing IT spend in a complex environment.
- Cyber Security and Software procurement experience is preferred.
- Advanced understanding of leading practice procurement technology.
- Advanced commercial and contract negotiation skills and experience.
- Excellent ability to manage and influence stakeholders and work collaboratively with customers and suppliers.
Education Qualification: Any Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in BA, B.Com, BBM, BCA, M.Com, MCA.
