The Manager, Technology Business Operations is an enablement role within the Americas Technology organization. The role exists to strengthen execution discipline, portfolio hygiene, and operational consistency across Technology, and to improve the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of information provided to Finance, Audit, and executive leadership.

 

This role supports Technology leaders by ensuring that governance frameworks, financial processes, and portfolio standards defined by Finance and the organization are consistently followed in day-to-day execution. This role ensures Technology executes against the rules laid out by governance.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

TECHNOLOGY OPERATION & BUSINESS EXECUTION

  • Establish and maintain a consistent operating cadence across the Technology organization, including planning cycles, reviews, and follow-through on commitments
  • Ensure Technology initiatives, investments, and operational activities are tracked in a disciplined and repeatable manner
  • Support leadership with clear, decision-ready views of execution status, risks, dependencies, and follow-ups

 

PORTFOLIO & COST HYGIENE

  • Maintain a consolidated, accurate view of the Technology portfolio, including initiatives, dependencies, and alignment to business priorities
  • Ensure portfolio data is complete, current, and aligned with financial and delivery realities
  • Coordinate linkage between initiatives, OPEX/CAPEX spend, and expected outcomes, without owning prioritization or funding decisions

 

FINANCIAL COORDINATION & DATA QUALITY

  • Coordinate Technology inputs into Finance-led budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting cycles
  • Ensure Technology financial data provided to Finance is timely, accurate, traceable, and aligned with Finance standards
  • Prepare variance explanations and supporting context in advance of Finance reviews to reduce rework and escalation
  • Track Technology spend against approved budgets and forecasts for visibility and early issue identification

 

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION

  • Serve as the primary coordination point between Technology and:
    • Regional Finance
    • Country Finance teams
    • Group Technology Finance
    • PMO and Portfolio Governance
    • Audit and Risk functions (as required)
  • Ensure consistent artifacts, messaging, and data are used across forums and stakeholders

 

AUDIT, CONTROLS AND COMPLIANCE ENABLEMENT

  • Support Finance- and Audit-led governance, controls, and review activities related to Technology
  • Ensure required documentation, evidence, and reporting artifacts are prepared and maintained by Technology teams
  • Track and support closure of audit findings and action items through disciplined follow-up

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Technology, or related field
  • 8–12+ years of experience in Technology operations, portfolio management, financial coordination, or enterprise delivery environments
  • Experience operating in matrixed, multi-country organizations
  • Strong understanding of Technology cost structures, delivery models, and portfolio management
  • Experience working closely with Finance, Audit, and executive stakeholders
  • Strong execution discipline and attention to detail
  • Ability to connect operational reality with financial and portfolio views
  • Clear, concise communicator with executive presence
  • Comfortable operating without formal decision authority
  • Trusted partner to Technology leaders, Finance, and governance functions
  • Bias toward follow-through and closing loops
