Manager for Technical Support - Syntese, API production
Become Manager of the Technical Support team in our Engineering department and set the direction and context for our highly skilled equipment and utility team, supporting our manufacturing of an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient essential in the treatment of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.
You will join Syntese, a part of the Ferring Pharmaceuticals global matrix, and work at our manufacturing site in Hvidovre. We are renowned worldwide for our reliable production of high-quality Mesalazine. Our production site is relatively small with 150 colleagues collaborating closely across functions.

We are looking for a strong people leader who understands how to drive a support function in a GMP regulated pharmaceutical industry. Your role at Syntese
You will play a key role in ensuring your team’s technical support to the production, including problem solving, designing solutions, qualifying equipment, handling changes, deviations and CAPA’s.  You lead a strong collaboration with other departments across the organization. In the role as Manager for Technical Support, you are the people manager of 8 skilled support engineers. Your responsibility is to manage the team and the technical support function for the site. You ensure that necessary competencies, processes, systems, and tools are in place to support their work. You help set the direction for our work to strengthen our compliance level by identification and closure of compliance gaps.

You are part of the Engineering & IT/OT department and report to the Head of Engineering & IT/OT. You work closely with the other functions and departments at the site; production, manufacturing support, QA – as well as with external suppliers.
Behind the team – there’s you
Most importantly, you are a strong people manager with several years of leadership experience and you have led similar teams and/or employee profiles.

You have a strong fundament in the pharmaceutical industry. You probably have a background as an engineer or equivalent, and you have hands-on experience with GMP and technical support tasks.

You are structured and have good analytical skills, you are positive and constructive in your approach to other people. You highly value other people and treat everyone with respect. You are a strong communicator both verbally and in writing, and you are fluent in Danish and English.
