Manager, Technical Design, Nike/TH Underwear - Calvin Klein

The Manager, Technical Design provides category specific technical support for Calvin Klein Global Supply Chain and the Brand through strong technical proficiency, organization, and leadership performance apparel.  He or she is responsible in achieving correct fits and design details from design inception through production top of line within the product development calendar dates.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop industry standard points of measurement, grade rules, and tolerances and set up in PDM

  • Management of 1-2 Associates while still owning product

  • Interact with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing and Vendor during proto development to achieve design intent and production feasibility.

  • Oversee maintenance of all Web PDM tech packs for category-specific styles.

  • Create and maintain proto, sample, and production status charts and reference books in conjunction with the compliance approval process for category-specific styles.

  • Manage proto, and production fittings. Update all fit notes and revised size specs into PDM in a timely manner and pass to production team.  Ability to clearly communicate pattern spec and fit changes through sourcing to offshore vendors. 

  • Ensure that all protos and samples are reviewed upon arrival for trim and details.

  • Manage proto and sample review set up.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of related work experience; 3 years of experience in a managerial role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Women’s Intimate apparel expertise is essential

  • Pattern making and garment construction expertise

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • Proficiency in Classic / WEB PDM /PLM

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be solution-oriented and be willing and able to find creative solutions to complex problems

  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed

Pay Range:$104,500---$141,200

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
