Primary Duties:
- Collaborate with Auditors to coordinate the quarterly reviews and the annual audit, and support reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and other operational leaders as needed
- Perform technical accounting research, analysis, documentation, and enablement of significant or complex accounting matters
- Support preparation of accounting entries for complex matters, including but not limited to revenue recognition, acquisition accounting and stock compensation expense
- Ensure effective controls around the SEC reporting, internal reporting and technical accounting process, and assist in development of internal control framework across the business.
- Develop strong cross-functional relationships and serve as a key business partner to ensure that all transactions are properly reflected in the financial statements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA strongly preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 experience highly desirable) or a combination of public accounting and corporate technical accounting roles.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and technical accounting standards.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in healthcare or technology industries is a plus but not required.
Preferred knowledge, skills, and/or abilities:
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and consistency in preparing work
- Excellent analytical, quantitative skills and accounting research skills
- Able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
- Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Workiva
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
