About the Role
Reporting to the Head, Talent Acquisition, this Manager will set the vision for technical hiring and build scalable recruiting practices that support rapid growth. This role blends deep recruiting expertise with people leadership, process optimization, and stakeholder management. You will partner closely with senior technical and business leaders to shape hiring strategies, drive hiring excellence, andcontribute to strategic initiatives that elevate the talent acquisition function.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strategic recruitment plan to achieve the workforce needs of today and to sustainably serve our future growth
  • Partner with senior leaders in the business to identify organizational talent needs in a technology centered, data driven and digitally oriented organization
  • Foster a culture of excellence and collaboration inspiring team members to perform at their best, leveraging diverse strengths and talents to achieve shared goals
  • Partner with the talent brand team to position Capital One as a destination for top talent.
  • Deliver with impact and operational excellence in a high performing team with a process optimization and metrics driven mindset
  • Drive a positive candidate experience from application stage to joining on day one

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Recruiting (full lifecycle hiring, research, and sourcing)
  • 5+ years of client management experience, partnering with senior business leaders to drive hiring outcomes
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience balancing complex recruiting searches with strategic influence and stakeholder engagement
  • Strategic orientation with proven ability to set a vision, chart a path and execute with high impact
  • Proven track record of successfully leading high performing teams, demonstrating the ability to cultivate a culture of excellence and collaboration
  • Strong bias for optimization and driving continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of compensation strategy, workforce planning, and recruiting analytics to support strategic decision-making
