Department Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Automation Technical Product Manager to lead our Network Automation team! This individual will be responsible for crafting, implementing, and scaling secure, automated network solutions across a multinational enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in network engineering and automation with proven leadership experience. This role requires a hands-on leader who can guide a team of developers and engineers to build and maintain a single source of truth for network inventory, develop custom workflows, and deliver automation at scale using tools like Python, NetBox, and Ansible.
Accountabilities and Responsibilites:

• Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network automation solutions across global locations
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of network automation engineers and developers
• Drive the development of custom automation workflows and scripts using Python, NetBox, Ansible, and other tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver seamless, scalable automation solutions
• Encourage the development and upkeep of a centralized repository for network inventory and automation, connecting with CMDB systems
• Offer strategic mentorship on automation architecture, tooling, and standard methodologies
• Manage vendor relationships and assess new technologies and services
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, automation diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Improve network monitoring, diagnostics, and incident response through automation
• Act as a domain authority for network automation and inventory management, coordinating a structured project intake and implementation process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 3 years dedicated to network automation or software development, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or managerial position
• Over 4 years of direct involvement in network operations, demonstrating a deep understanding of challenges, real-world scenarios, and emerging trends within the sector
• Demonstrable experience in leading global-scale automation projects and supporting distributed teams
• Deep understanding of routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, and wireless technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)
• Experience managing hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud-based networks)
• Proficient in network automation platforms and tools including Ansible, NetBox, and Terraform
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and workflow development
• Experience deploying and managing cloud applications in AWS, GCP, or similar environments
• Familiarity with workflow development, task management, and automation pipelines
• Solid grasp of ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to executive leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in or supporting global, branch-style organizations with complex network topologies
• Proficient in network automation with Python, Ansible, NetBox, Terraform, and AWS
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices

Salary Range
The expected salary range for this role is $129,800.00 - $165,490.00 per year
