The Tax Manager will Implement the organization's tax strategy to optimize the amount of tax the company pays and ensure it complies with all relevant local and international tax laws and regulations. Direct tax-related activities in accordance with the tax strategy to ensure the organization meets its tax obligations and objectives. Advise senior management on tax matters and on the potential impact of laws and regulations on the operation of the organization. Select and manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service. Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of tax professionals to ensure the organization's tax strategy is implemented accurately and consistently and in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards. Activities may include tax planning; research; reporting and filings; auditing; communicating with external tax agencies; tax strategy implementation support; US international and global compliance; worldwide minimum tax and tax automation of OneSource Tax Provision, SOX compliance and GBS coordination.
Responsibilities
- Tax strategy implementation support.
- Critical tax function integration
- US international and global compliance (returns, tax exams)
- Tax automation including OTP experience, SOX compliance & GBS coordination.
- Worldwide minimum tax and indirect tax liaison & planning
- International tax accounting manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or relevant related field
- 4 – 6+ years tax experience within a public accounting and/or multinational public company environment
- Understanding of financial accounting and economic related concepts
- Working knowledge of U.S./state/Foreign tax laws and concepts
- Strong MS Office, and OneSource Tax Provision preferred.
- Effective written communication and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or relevant related field
- CPA Certification
