The starting salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 annually. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package of medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, 401k with company match, and paid time off. If you are hired at Winebow, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
Job Summary:
Manage and oversee the Company’s multiple tax filings, corporate policies and tax related objectives. Monitor reporting and planning to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state tax statutes and generally accepted accounting principles.
Essential Functions:
Preparation and filing of regular excise, sales & use, property tax and unclaimed property filings.
Responsible for annual ASC 740 income tax reporting, income tax footnotes and disclosures for annual audited consolidated financial statements.
Work with external CPA firm to prepare quarterly estimated federal and state tax payments for all consolidating companies.
Manage and review completion of Federal and state income tax returns with external CPA firm.
Lead all aspects of tax audits and coordination with taxing authorities.
Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments.
Collaborate across corporate functional teams and external service providers.
Communicate effectively at all levels to align tax strategy with business objectives and priorities, making complex tax concepts meaningful and useful to non-tax personnel.
Coach and develop small tax team. Manage staff workload effectively.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient tax reporting.
Other Functions:
Suggests improvements and automations.
Income tax planning.
Performs additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with major or emphasis in Accounting or Taxation
CPA or MST
Five (5) years of relevant experience
Experience in multi state excise tax filings
Experience in corporate tax compliance and income tax provision
Knowledge of US Federal and state tax laws
Experience in tax research & documentation
Experience in tax audits
People and project management skills
Cross functional teams collaboration skills
