This is a primarily in-person role based in the Denver metro area. The Manager of Talent Acquisition is expected to work on-site at RMP’s Central Office or at one of our school campuses at least four days per week. This position may have limited hybrid flexibility but is not eligible for fully remote work.

About the Role

The Manager of Talent Acquisition (Selection & Screening) leads full-cycle hiring for mission-critical roles across Rocky Mountain Prep’s 12 schools, ensuring every campus is staffed with talented, mission-aligned educators and leaders. This role manages candidates from initial application through final interview, creating a responsive, equitable, and high-quality experience at every stage. The Manager combines strong judgment, relationship-building, and operational execution to identify exceptional talent and move candidates efficiently through the hiring process. Working closely with hiring managers and the Talent team, this role strengthens selection practices, maintains accurate recruitment systems, and drives toward ambitious staffing goals throughout the school year.

Managers of Talent Acquisition at Rocky Mountain Prep will...

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, managing talent pipelines, resume review, candidate screening, phone interviews, and final interview coordination to identify strong, mission-aligned candidates.
  • Evaluate candidates with consistency and strong judgment, assessing experience, skills, mission alignment, and potential while maintaining equitable and inclusive selection practices throughout the hiring process.
  • Deliver a responsive, high-quality candidate experience, communicating clearly and consistently with applicants and ensuring candidates receive timely updates throughout each stage of the process.
  • Drive candidates efficiently through the hiring process, responding to applications within 24–72 hours and maintaining the urgency necessary to move strong candidates forward.
  • Own accurate candidate tracking and recruitment systems, maintaining up-to-date applicant records and interactions in Paycom to strengthen visibility, processing time, and team efficiency.
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and school leaders, providing timely updates, coordinating next steps, gathering feedback, and ensuring selection processes meet the talent needs of each school.
  • Drive toward RMP’s staffing goals, maintaining urgency throughout the hiring process, proactively addressing vacancies, and working toward 100% staffing by the first day of summer professional development.
  • Provide exceptional service to candidates and internal stakeholders, responding to candidate and team inquiries within 24–48 hours and contributing to a goal of 90% hiring manager satisfaction.
  • Serve as a culture carrier and relationship builder for RMP, developing authentic connections with staff, school leaders, families, and scholars while representing RMP’s mission, values, and commitment to educational equity throughout the recruitment process.
QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a school-based setting. This may include two years of direct recruiting, candidate processing, and hiring experience, or a combination of recruiting and school-based experience.
  • Demonstrated success in recruitment, sales, outreach, or another relationship-driven environment.
  • Experience building relationships and communicating effectively with diverse candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong commitment to equity and the ability to apply equitable and inclusive practices throughout candidate selection and hiring.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple hiring processes, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to providing responsive, high-quality service.
  • Ability to use data, systems, and candidate information to make sound decisions and drive hiring processes forward.
Preferred
  • Knowledge of K–12 school systems and education talent acquisition.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), such as Paycom.
  • Experience working in education, a charter school network, or a nonprofit organization.

Salary

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $65,000 to $95,000, based on experience and qualifications.
