Location: This position will be based in Mayfield Heights, OH or remote. If remote, preference will be given to candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and develop the recruitment team, including Senior and Lead Recruiters, ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment across all talent acquisition activities.
Provide oversight of the TA budget process.
Partner with the VP, Global HR to design and implement enterprise-wide recruitment strategies; report progress using metrics and insights to guide decision-making.
Oversee the execution of all full-cycle recruitment activities (e.g., screen resumes, conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, campus recruitment, executive-level recruiting), ensuring process quality, consistency, and best-in-class candidate experience across all hiring levels.
Manage relationships with key external recruiting vendors and platforms to ensure high-quality service delivery and alignment with hiring objectives.
Oversee vendor performance, SLAs, and compliance to ensure consistent support for recruiting activities.
Coordinate with external partners on advertising strategies, background checks, employer branding initiatives, and recruitment technology enhancements.
Evaluate vendor solutions, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure cost-effective use of recruiting resources.
Leverage recruitment analytics to evaluate performance, optimize processes, benchmark best practices, and continuously elevate Talent Acquisition effectiveness.
Develop and manage candidate attraction strategies through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employer branding initiatives.
Required:
Minimum of 7 years of professional recruiting experience, with proven leadership responsibility in high-volume and strategic recruitment environments.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven ability to effectively manage and lead a team of recruiters, driving performance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Strong knowledge of employment law and best practices related to talent acquisition.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of driving recruitment initiatives to meet organizational goals.
Proficiency in utilizing recruitment technologies and tools, including applicant tracking systems and recruitment marketing platforms.
Preferred:
HR Certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
Experience working within the automotive or advanced manufacturing sector, or in a similarly fast‑paced, highly technical, and high‑volume environment, with the ability to support complex operations and evolving business needs.
Prior experience in implementing and optimizing HRIS, ATS, and recruitment marketing tools.
Demonstrated success in building and executing recruiting strategies to attract top talent (exempt, non-exempt, campus, executive).
