Job Description

Job Summary

The Talent Acquisition Manager will develop and drive the annual recruitment strategy based on the organization's strategic plan and revise as necessary. This leader will also develop, coach and lead Talent Acquisition staff responsible for daily full cycle recruitment functions, candidate/client experience and engagement and recruitment marketing (collegiate, community, association and social media). This is inclusive of coordinating recruitment strategy, approving all recruitment events and providing input and guidance to leadership, managers and supervisors on recruitment issues. This TA leader will also work closely with other leaders of the HR Service team to contribute knowledge that maximizes the Human Capital for Atrium Health Floyd, participating in the capital and operating budget process. This includes actively participating in presentations to leadership, managers, supervisors, and staff to communicate Atrium Health Floyd's talent acquisition philosophy and performance metrics--staying abreast of best practices for healthcare recruiting while performing other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Manage and ensures standardized and effective recruitment and candidate experience and engagement processes are followed within full cycle recruitment management (Interviews, compliant documentation, policies and procedures and quality of hires, and diversity hiring goals are met.
  • Develop and manage sourcing strategy with ongoing assessment and review of sourcing approach, use of advertisement and appropriate use of placement firms.
  • Develops and manages the sustainability of targeted recruitment strategies and their performance for critical staffing positions.
  • Monitors and manages recruitment performance through metrics for the talent acquisition team inclusive of training and evaluation to ensure effective operations, efficient results and outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain internal stakeholder relationships and knowledge of business growth strategies impacting future hiring needs through rounding.
  • Communicate and present on a regular basis the overall performance of talent acquisition; inclusive of vacancy rates and open positions, recruitment initiatives, deliverables, candidate experience, recruitment metrics, goals and outcomes.

Education, Training, and Experience

  • Bachelors Human Resources Management or Administration or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through work experience; 6 years or more experience in recruiting, business administration or related experience.
  • Five years' experience in human resources with concentration in recruitment.
  • Healthcare experience, sales, marketing and performance cost analysis preferred.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal, organizational, problem solving, and computer skills.
  • Must have knowledge of state and federal laws affecting the employment process.
