Job Description Summary:
Key responsibilities:
- Drive engagement with system partners to achieve sustainability goals related to packaging, collection, and r-PET/r-CAN and provide water replenishment technical support in line with the technical sustainability vision.
- Implement and govern the sustainability strategy, including Science Based Targets (SBT), risk assessments, and monitoring of internal and external sustainability trends.
- Provide technical guidance for establishing collection schemes and oversee r-PET/r-CAN end-to-end governance, supplier, and business development initiatives.
- Influence and recommend sustainability investment plans, focusing on cost, infrastructure development, strategic partnerships, and collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Strategically connect with external and internal networks to enhance performance, benchmarking, and transformation of organizational capabilities towards operational sustainability.
- Manage a center of excellence for sharing knowledge on packaging, collection, and r-PET sustainability, and continuously improve performance tracking models.
- Make key decisions regarding recycled PET supplier authorizations and drive initiatives for continuous improvement in quality, production capacity, and compliance with standards and certifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and engage with stakeholders to align on sustainability strategies, investment priorities, and the inclusion of post-consumer waste considerations in new projects.
Qualification :
- Master / Bachelor´s degree: Chemical Engineer, Food Engineer, Industrial Engineer or similar
- End-to-End Operational sustainability leadership in packaging technologies, circular economy, Science Based Target
- System economics, value chain and supply chain finance
- Risk management, mitigation and communication. Conflict management
- Ability to translate scientific, technological, QSE and SC concepts to relevant business insights and growth opportunities
