Role Overview
As a Procurement – Analytics (Sustainability) for the Procurement Strategy & Delivery Team, you will support the development and implementation of high value cross-functional projects and have regular interactions with our suppliers to enable delivery of Haleon’s sustainability ambitions.
Qualifications, Expectations & Skills:
- 4-9 years of total procurement experience.
- Minimum 4 years in procurement experience managing categories like Media, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Packaging, Ingredients/Raw Materials
- Work experience in sustainability related topics
- Technical or numerical degree educated and/or relevant qualifications/experience - Understanding of data architecture, data quality processes, and data modelling.
- Strong background in using visualization tools – e.g. Qlik Sense, Power BI and excellent Excel skills (VBA preferrable) with high levels of numeracy and accuracy.
- Experience with SAP procurement solutions preferable (SAP ECC, SAP Ariba etc.).
- Managing global projects would be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in navigating through organizational complexity, collaborating simultaneously with multiple teams, influencing without authority, handling escalations and associated business impact.
- Strong experience in using tools like Ariba or other equivalent sourcing execution technology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – fluent English
- FMCG and CH preferable.
Key Responsibilities
- To drive the core principles and discipline of Project Management within Global Procurement Performance and Delivery team, to deliver sustainability projects (such as sustainable sourcing for ingredients and scope 3 carbon reduction).
- Effectively project manage, track and facilitate progress of the key initiatives and proactively manage risks and issues across groups, as well as help standardize the process as required
- Support the efficient execution of data collection, analysis and action plan generation and roll out in collaboration with 1st and 2nd tier suppliers, Procurement and Supply Chain colleagues
- Work closely with global, regional, and local stakeholders to ensure that projects are endorsed for implementation
- Lead supplier discussions with relevant procurement team, to track and performance manage implementation of projects (such as sign up to M2030 and gaining certified material).
- Identify, engage and manage stakeholders. Ensure effective communications plan is in place and managed on an on-going basis. Preparation of materials for any Project governance forums as required
- Ensure all documentation required is in place
- Manage and deliver against all project objectives as per agreed project charter (scope, time, budget, resources and quality)
- Manage & develop effective standard project tracking and reporting process suitable for reporting at various management levels (Time / KPIs / Benefit / Quality)
- Support the wider team on supplier performance management, linking sustainability into sourcing criteria as required
