Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Global Supply Chain (GSC) Operations team is seeking talented Supply Chain Program Manager 3 to join the Naval & Oceanic Systems Business Unit, supporting the Undersea Warfare and Special Defense Operating Units.  This position will be located in Annapolis, MD.  Come join the Oceanic Systems team where innovation and quality thrive!

Our team is looking for a qualified applicant to lead all Global Supply Chain activities in support of our Oceanic Systems program portfolio.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, execution, and operational efficiency of all material and services content for two Operating Units
  • Drive strong supplier performance through the use of focused management approaches designed to proactively identify and mitigate risks
  • Manage supplier relationships and support negotiations for major subcontract awards
  • Acts as the primary focal point for program leadership for GSC and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met
  • Monitor and manage emerging global supply chain issues and develop mitigation strategies to best position programs for continued success
  • Lead GSC in proposal efforts supporting our growing campus through cross-functional collaboration with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Pricing & Estimating
  • Develop key suppliers to support critical program and industry technologies
  • Assume lead responsibility for the assessment of supply resources and to aggregate and prioritize demand requirements
  • Maintain an accurate and predictable material receipt forecast for the Annapolis campus
  • Report to executive leadership at program management reviews
  • Participate in make/buy decisions beneficial to programs and the campus
  • Manage both short and long-term capacity and resource planning
  • Travel up to 25%

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in operations, supply chain, business, or program management or a masters degree and a minimum of 6 years in operations, supply chain, business, or program management
  • Experience with supply chain management techniques, practices, processes, tools, and planning.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a formal lead/management position of people
  • US Citizenship
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI
  • High proficiency with SAP, particularly Supply Chain/MRP transactions
  • Experience and/or knowledge in a manufacturing environment

Primary Level Salary Range: $167,500.00 - $251,300.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
