Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 located onsite in San Diego, CA.
This leadership position will be responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material content for the F-22 CNI Programs. You will act as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met.
What You'll Get to Do:
Lead a team of Supply Chain Planning Specialists who are responsible for coordinating cross-functionally to ensure that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.
Accountable for supply chain program execution including resource planning, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution
Own budget, forecasting, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) requirements for all material
Effectively manage a supply base on cost, schedule, quality, and performance
Develop and maintain Strategic Supplier relationships
Present briefings to the PMO and leadership on program status and any necessary action plans to address issues affecting program supply chain cost and schedule performance
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 years of experience in supply chain management, project management OR a Master’s Degree with at least 6 years of experience in supply chain management, project management
Minimum of 3 years experience leading a team of people or direct management of people
Experience with EVMS, financial reporting, forecasting, and product scheduling
US Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret government clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a broad range of supply chain issues, including supplier management, risk management, large and complex proposals, negotiations, terms and conditions, contract types (fixed price and cost type), and post award management
Experience developing and growing teams and shaping a performing culture
Project Management experience with a clear understanding of establishing and maintaining schedules
Experience with Supply Chain metrics, and driving performance to targets
Control Account Manager (CAM) experience and certification
Experience with Federal and Defense contracting requirements, including FAR/DFAR and ITAR

Primary Level Salary Range: $146,600.00 - $219,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
