As the Manager - Supply Chain Analytics you will be responsible for developing, managing, and publishing supply chain analytics for an assigned function within supply chain group, including inventory, pricing, and purchasing. You will conduct complex data analysis to inform and empower internal stakeholders to improve operating results. You will represent and manage cross- functional analytic initiatives. You will manage staff, administers workflow process systems, and ensures department has resources to support business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Directs analytical activities of assigned function, including purchasing, inventory, pricing, etc.
- Conducts complex data analysis and evaluates intangibles providing management with fact based information.
- Leads and administers team responsible for workflow process systems.
- Assists with developing strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize contribution to operating results.
- Directs and manages reporting, including key performance indicators, lean kaizen requests, and other ad-hoc requests.
- Challenges employees, builds effective teams, develops organizational capacity, and provides coaching to staff.
- Maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Business, engineering, computer, supply chain or related field or related required; MBA preferred.
- 5 years required, 7 years preferred of prior responsibility in purchasing or supply chain management.
- 2 years required, 3 years preferred of management supervision.
- 3 years preferred of industrial distribution.
- 3 years preferred of operations management.
- Knowledge of industry including suppliers, customers and competitors preferred.
- Ability to initiate and develop relationships with key decision makers inside and outside the company to achieve objectives.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer programing skills in multiple languages.
- Able to oversee people and processes to achieve objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills including coaching and conflict management.
