Responsibilities to include, but not limited to the following:
- Lead a team of exempt and non-exempt employees
- Coordinates interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Warehousing, Traffic, Procurement, etc.
- Responsible for meeting direct budget targets, writing/updating work instructions, providing performance metrics, and making recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
- Leads a team that has the mission statement to support all Production goals and objectives through accurate tracking, receiving, shipping with a strong focus on safety and cost efficiency.
- Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Train and guide employees in keeping with all Northrop Grumman Values & Leader Characteristics
- Collaborate with various programs on projects related to material receipt, storage, issue, and transportation.
- Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external customers, including local, state, federal, and international agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in support of Space Sector programs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management OR a Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent with 8 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management
- Must have basic knowledge of Material Planning or Production Planning and/or equivalent Planning experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Special Access Program (SAP)
- Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude.
- Working Knowledge of Cost Point/SAP
