Position Purpose:
The primary purpose of this role is to implement improved business processes and supplier strategies that advance Home Depot’s supplier relationship. The Manager, Supplier Operations Process must start with the Supplier relationship and work backwards to ensure that Home Depot is supporting the growth and development of its Suppliers.
The Managers job is to ensure that the Online Merchandising team provides strong resources and supports for our Suppliers to manage their businesses. Develop a tactical strategy for Home Depot’s Supplier processes and identifying opportunities to simplify and make things run more efficiently.
The Manager, Supplier Operations Process will ensure suppliers are always supported and able to resolve any challenges they may face. This individual provides direct and indirect leadership/management across a project team of 10+ professionals and works closely with business partners to ensure organizational objectives are met. This role requires preparation and delivery of presentations and written documentation to all levels of the organization to communicate the various aspects of supplier management process and progress.
Key Responsibilities:

40% Guide and provide oversight in teams independent thinking and judgment to document and track supplier management processes to improve supplier relations and unblock suppliers

20% Lead online team that strategizes around supplier process

20% Work across the organization to understand opportunities for how to better support Home Depot's stores and Online merchandising groups

20% Selects, develops and directs a high performing team
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position reports to the Senior Manager, Online Merchandising.
- This position has 0-5 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

- Understanding of basic corporate financial practices
- Experience in Vendor Management, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Merchandising
