Project Manager, Strategic Operations Support

Who We Are: 

Join our team as a Manager supporting key operational and strategic initiatives to optimize supplier performance and ensure seamless operations within Wayfair. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, project management, and collaborative problem-solving to deliver measurable results across multiple workstreams. The position will provide vital support to ensure Wayfair meets its operational goals while improving supplier experience and efficiency.

What You’ll Do: 

• Support rollout of high priority operations initiatives with suppliers, working closely with numerous ops teams to shape strategy, build a go-to-market plan, and execute to deliver results
• Manage and optimize key operational workflows with suppliers and category management to ensure continued improvement on day-to-day operational metrics
• Work closely with category managers and suppliers to understand operational needs and collaborate with central teams to ensure their needs are met via tech and policy enhancements
• Work globally to understand nuances by geo and support operational changes needed to ensure successful rollout of key operational policies in different geos.
• Collaborate with supplier marketing to ensure communications are happening effectively at scale 
• Leverage data and qualitative information to develop business strategy that drives operational gains for Wayfair and improves the customer experience

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations, logistics, business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, process improvement, or operations within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with supplier relations and operational best practices is a plus.

An Important Note about Wayfair's In-Office Policy: All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
