At Coveo, we're looking for a Manager, Strategic Business Development to bridge Sales strategy and business development execution, ensuring our most strategic accounts receive the focus, expertise, and coordination they deserve.
As a trusted partner to Sales and Business Development leadership, you'll guide Senior Sales Development Representatives, strengthen collaboration with Account Executives, and contribute directly to high-priority opportunities. - Translate Account Executives' account strategies into actionable prospecting and stakeholder engagement plans, helping SDRs navigate complex accounts effectively.
- Coach Senior SDRs on account mapping, multithreading, personalized outreach, and complex prospect conversations, strengthening their strategic prospecting capabilities.
- Facilitate regular alignment sessions between Account Executives and Senior SDRs to clarify priorities, exchange account intelligence, and continuously improve collaboration.
- Maintain a reduced portfolio of strategic accounts, directly supporting targeted opportunities and partner-led initiatives while sharing market insights and engagement trends with Sales.
- Monitor the effectiveness of strategic assignments, identify successful approaches, and turn insights into repeatable practices and enablement initiatives.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
- Solid experience in business development, sales development, or strategic account prospecting within a business-to-business environment.
- Strong understanding of complex sales cycles, account-based prospecting strategies, and multistakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to coach experienced sales development professionals, influence without direct authority, and build trusted relationships across teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities and translate strategy into actionable plans.
What will make you stand out:
- Experience working closely with enterprise Account Executives on complex, high-value opportunities.
- A track record of improving collaboration between Sales and Business Development teams.
- Experience developing prospecting playbooks, coaching frameworks, or enablement initiatives that improve execution.
- Familiarity with partner-led sales motions and using engagement data to identify opportunities for improvement.
