Position Overview:

We’re an AI-first team building intelligent, automated, and insight-rich finance processes. You’ll pair your accounting expertise with modern tools to shape how a high-growth, market-leading SaaS company manages its global statutory and intercompany obligations, bringing both scale and  rigour to everything you do. This is a newly defined role with real scope and visibility.

If you’re a technically strong accountant who wants to move beyond the transactional, bring structure to complexity, and work in an environment that genuinely values people who challenge the status quo, this is the role for you.

What you’ll do

  • Statutory Financial Reporting & Global Audit Management
  • Oversee preparation and filing of statutory financial statements and regulatory filings across all international jurisdictions
  • Ensure appropriate alignment between U.S. GAAP reporting and local statutory reporting frameworks (IFRS and local GAAP where required)
  • Maintain strong oversight of local statutory audit processes, ensuring consistent quality and predictable completion timelines
  • Coordinate statutory audits globally across all jurisdictions, driving standardised audit readiness processes and documentation standards
  • Maintain strong relationships with local auditors and external service providers supporting statutory reporting
  • Formally document all technical accounting positions supporting the statutory financial statements, maintaining a clear and audit-ready record of judgements and policy elections across jurisdictions

Intercompany & Cross-Border Accounting

  • Partner with the teams to drive the global framework for intercompany accounting, settlements, and cross-border funding activities
  • Collaborate with the Business Applications team to ensure the ERP and wider technology stack appropriately supports intercompany and cross-border accounting processes, including system configuration, automation capabilities, and scalability to meet evolving business requirements
  • Responsible for the management of intercompany recharges and the maintenance of strong intercompany relationships across all group entities
  • Review transfer pricing journal entries in collaboration with the Corporate Accounting team, ensuring accuracy and completeness of charges posted across group entities
  • Work with both the Tax and Corporate Accounting teams to operationalize the transfer pricing process across the group and validate outcomes
  • Preparation and review of reconciliations of intercompany balances as part of the consolidated financial reporting cycle and statutory reporting cycle
  • Provide support on reconciliations and other ad hoc Finance tasks as required, collaborating with the broader Accounting team to meet month-end and period close deadlines
  • Oversee accounting for capital contributions, dividends, intercompany loans, and other cross-border financing and treasury initiatives
  • Own the intercompany settlement process in coordination with Treasury, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of intercompany balances across all entities
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with intercompany agreements
  • Review cumulative translation adjustment (CTA) and FX gains/losses associated with intercompany activity for reasonableness, and escalate significant variances as appropriate

International Entity Governance

  • Maintain comprehensive entity compliance calendars, statutory governance requirements, and local regulatory obligations across jurisdictions
  • Partner with Legal and Tax to support entity formation, restructuring, liquidations, and entity rationalisation initiatives
  • Monitor the regulatory landscape across all operating countries to anticipate and assess the impact of changes on the Company’s compliance obligations

Process Transformation & Automation

  • Design and implement scalable statutory reporting processes that reduce manual effort and improve global compliance visibility
  • Leverage ERP capabilities, workflow automation, and emerging technologies to modernise the global statutory reporting infrastructure
  • Establish standardised templates, reporting frameworks, and governance models across jurisdictions
  • Design efficient process and procedure enhancements for all aspects of intercompany accounting, driving consistency and reducing manual effort across the global entity footprint
  • Manage and lead finance transformation projects as required, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver process improvements and system enhancements

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 8+ years progressive accounting experience
  • Demonstrable experience managing statutory financial reporting and audit processes across multiple international jurisdictions
  • Solid understanding of intercompany accounting, transfer pricing concepts, and cross-border transaction flows within a multinational group
  • Experience in a global finance function of a multi-location, multinational corporation — SaaS or technology sector background a strong advantage
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge across US GAAP or IFRS, with the ability to document and defend complex positions clearly
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite or a similar ERP; comfortable engaging with Business Applications teams on system configuration and process improvement
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and cross-geography, managing multiple stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Legal, and Operations with confidence
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing deadlines across jurisdictions and drive accountability in others
  • Mindset for automation and continuous improvement; proficient with spreadsheets and data tools, and eager to pilot AI-assisted workflows to raise the bar on what Finance can deliver
