$80,169-$119,747/year

Work Schedule
100% onsite, with flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.
The Operations Manager provides day-to-day operational support to a team of Duty Managers and Operational Supervisors. This role will drive operational leadership around daily work functions as well as daily planning to include staffing, overtime, general operations and functional support to all operations teams. This role requires daily execution of plans and initiatives to ensure a safe workplace with stellar on-time and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Foster and maintain a culture where the safety of our team members and customers is always our number one priority.
- Lead a team of duty managers and operational supervisors to include coaching, mentoring, and supporting individual development
- Monitor, assess and report on operational performance as needed and drive ongoing improvement initiatives
- Proactively identify potential threats to performance, safety compliance and staffing and implement mitigation
- Develop and maintain ongoing partnerships with the Port, TSA, FAA and other airline vendors
- Investigate and report on daily operational performance metrics, and helps to develop and implement mitigation plan(s)
- Recognize and celebrate individual and team performance
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and by providing regular and meaningful feedback.
- Foster open and honest communication that creates an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture that demonstrates McGee's values of Safety, Integrity, Mutual Respect, Accountability and Pride.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support McGee’s successful business operation.
Required
- 2 years of airline experience with proven skills in stations operations, including one of the following areas: passenger service, cargo handling, or group handling.
- 2 years of experience leading large groups of team members in fast-paced, service-focused environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays.
- Ability to influence others, work cross-functionally, and contribute positively to a team-oriented, safety-first culture.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
