Join a high-impact sourcing team supporting one of Stryker's most critical manufacturing sites. As a Sourcing Manager, you'll drive strategic sourcing initiatives that directly influence cost, quality, supply continuity, and business performance. You'll partner with leaders across the organization and key suppliers to shape sourcing strategies, optimize the supply base, and deliver meaningful results.
- Develop and execute commodity strategies aligned with divisional and enterprise objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive sourcing initiatives, supplier optimization, and cost reduction programs.
- Build and implement strategic commodity plans, spend assessments, consolidation strategies, and long-term sourcing roadmaps.
- Lead supplier selection, competitive bidding, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
- Drive supplier performance improvements across quality, delivery, service, innovation, and cost.
- Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies, including supplier financial health, market dynamics, sustainability, ethics, and compliance considerations.
- Leverage market intelligence, industry trends, and cost analysis to recommend sourcing strategies and business decisions.
- Partner across functions, divisions, and global teams to develop supplier scorecards, business reviews, and performance metrics.
- Establish and improve sourcing tools, processes, and best practices that enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Present supplier strategies, sourcing recommendations, and key business updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Support new product development, supply base rationalization, and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen Stryker's competitive advantage.
Required -
- 8+ years in Supply Management with focus in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply management, or supplier development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Management, Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.
Preferred -
- Experience within a highly regulated industry.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Supplier performance management.
- Master's degree and/or professional certifications APICS, ISM, CSCMP, PMP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
