Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.
These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide technology leadership to a strong engineering team
  • Come up with long term architecture roadmap for the existing products
  • Develops pioneering approaches to emerging technology and industry trends
  • Define, use and communicate design patterns and best practices
  • Provide technology leadership to the team. Mentor and guide them whenever required
  • Communicate with internal and external business partners. Should be able to handle Onshore/Offshore model
  • Act as the liaison between Business and Developers and project management groups
  • Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution
  • Participation in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases, provide inputs for Go/No Go decision
  • Support QA, UAT and Release phases of the project via defect analysis, change maintenance, etc
  • Closely working Business Teams, Onshore partners, deployment and infrastructure teams
  • Manages and is accountable for professional employees and/or supervisors
  • Impact of work is most often at the local level

Required Qualifications:
  • B.Tech/BE/MCA with 11+ years of experience - working on multiple layer of technology
  • Experience in multiple application and web servers (J2EE tech stack, JBoss/Tomcat/WebSphere)
  • Solid 7+ years of experience in UI related technologies (ReactJS, Angular, JQuery, Smart Components etc.), must have experience in building UI components for an enterprise
  • 4+ years working experience in set up or maintenance of CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions, test, build , deployment and monitoring automation)
  • 3+ years of working experience on Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, AKS, Dockers etc.)
  • 2+ years of working experience in Multitenant Cloud application development / micro-services architecture and deployments
  • 2+ years of working experience on AWS/or AZURE - Experience of at least one application migration to Cloud platform
  • Significant experience in design and architecting solutions
  • Full stack hands-on engineer who can implement key product features
  • Hands-on implementation experience, should be able to design, implement key product features, be an active part of an Agile Scrum team
  • Common security vulnerabilities, their causes and implementations to fix the same
  • Security scanning methodologies and tools (e.g. HP Fortify, Whitehat, Webinspect etc.)
  • Splunk, New Relic, Sonar
  • Open Shift, working experience on Private cloud, Hybrid Cloud Model, Deep understanding on design principal of Cloud Architecture
  • Terraform Scripting / Kubernetes
  • Good technical skills to understand complex designs, implement big and complex systems
  • Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven excellent in design thinking and approach to solve business problem by applying suitable technologies (cost efficient, high performance, resilient and scalable).

  • AI Builder mindset, experienced in Azure AI, MS CoPilot Studio, Prompt Engg., GitHub Copilot, Gen AI,RAG frameworks

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and fixes

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, New Relic) and code quality tools (SonarQube)
  • Experience with OpenShift, private cloud, hybrid cloud models and cloud architecture design principles
  • Terraform scripting and Kubernetes experience
  • Strong technical skills to understand and implement complex designs and systems
  • Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven design thinking and ability to solve business problems with cost-efficient, scalable solutions
