Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead 1-2 engineering teams to deliver secure, compliant, and high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives
- Drive operational excellence in code quality, feature reliability, and tech debt reduction
- Coach, mentor, and grow team expertise; lead hiring and goal-setting in collaboration with leadership
- Ensure solid stakeholder engagement and effective communication across global teams
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (HIPAA, ADA, SOX) and corporate policies
- Oversee incident resolution and implement permanent corrective actions
- Build robust automation for build, deployment, testing, monitoring, and telemetry
- Leverage metrics to improve system performance and achieve technical and business MBOs
- Champion user-centric design and business impact in solution development
- Stay close to the code while delegating effectively to empower team ownership
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in leadership roles managing multiple teams
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, automation, and monitoring tools
- Strategic Thinking: Experience in setting goals, managing tech debt, and leveraging metrics for continuous improvement
- Solid knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and modern development frameworks
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and safe experimentation environments
- Compliance & Security: Understanding of regulatory standards (HIPAA, ADA, SOX) and secure coding practices
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor teams, drive operational excellence, and manage global collaboration
- Communication: Proven excellent written and verbal skills for stakeholder engagement and team alignment
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to resolve incidents quickly and implement permanent corrective actions
