Manager, Software Engineering (Software Engineer Team Lead)
- Lead a team of Software engineers responsible for building scalable, resilient, and secure services for one of Tipalti’s new core products.
- Own the team’s roadmap and deliverables, ensuring high-quality execution from design to deployment.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and other engineering teams to build the right solutions for our customers.
- Be accountable for technical decisions, uphold high engineering standards, and continuously refine the team’s practices.
- Coach and mentor engineers to help them grow professionally and technically.
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- 7+ years in a software development role
- 3+ years of leading software development teams
- Experience with a major web development stack: C# or Java
- Experience with microservices architectures and message broker tools (e.g. RabbitMQ) - a major advantage
- Strong knowledge in software design and passion for creating high-standard code
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and drive people
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Hebrew and in English
