The Opportunity...

We’re looking for a hands-on Software Engineering Manager to lead our high-performing Web Engineering team. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of 6 full-time engineers and 4 offshore contractors, building and maintaining dozens of high-velocity landing pages used in paid media campaigns across social and search. These pages are typically simple, high-impact one-pagers built for speed, scale, and conversion. You'll lead the engineering team that builds them, working closely with product managers, designers, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure our sites meet performance goals and business needs.

How You'll Contribute...

Manage and grow a team of 10+ engineers (6 FTEs, 4 offshore contractors) across multiple client verticals
Own the delivery process of landing pages from ideation to launch—most pages go live in under a week
Oversee frontend-heavy development using React, Next.js, and legacy PHP/WordPress as we transition to modern frameworks
Work closely with designers, product managers, QA, and stakeholders to scope, build, and test A/B experiments or launch new landing pages
Foster a fast-paced, startup-minded culture with strong ownership and autonomy
Spend ~20% of your time contributing to code (POCs, exploring new tech, debugging)
Support hiring, onboarding, and career development for your team
Conduct regular 1:1s and drive performance through mentorship and feedback
Collaborate with cross-functional leads to set team priorities and ensure timely, high-quality delivery
Collaborate with other engineering teams and technology within Centerfield

What We're Looking For...

3+ years of experience managing 4+ direct reports in an engineering team
Strong background in frontend web development, particularly with React, Next.js, and modern web architecture
Comfortable working in PHP/WordPress and navigating legacy systems when needed, reverse engineering, debugging, etc
Familiarity with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and marketing funnels
Strong communication and collaboration skills—you’ll partner closely with business, product, and design
Hands-on mindset: you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves when needed
High bias for action, driven, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
