Duties:
Direct, manage, plan, and administrate a DevOps AWS team. Design and implement complex automation scripts in Bash, groovy(Jenkins) and python, to support application processes for cloud deployments. Support in-house applications and third-party tools, such as Terraform Kafka, Qualys, Github, Hashicorp Vault. Maintain reliability and stability of the AWS instances in the cloud using Configuration as Code (CaC), CLI (Command Line interface), and Linux. Translate middle and senior management directives into workable policies. Monitor project status and take remedial action on projects behind schedule and/or over budget. Design, develop and implement web, core, microservices and APIs using Java and different frameworks, such as spring boot, Hibernate, and Model view Controller, and development tools, such as Eclipse, IntelliJ and Visual Studio Code, for on premises and cloud applications. Run the incident and problem management process for non-production environments. Resolve complex support issues in non-production environments. Have an understanding of Cloud Native applications running on Kubernetes within AWS. Assist production support and development staff in debugging environment defects. Create procedural and troubleshooting documentation related to cloud native applications. Oversee the work of 3 DevOps Engineers. Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in CS, computer engineering or related and seven (7) years of experience as a DevOps Lead, Java Developer or related..

$158,600-$213,400
