As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset and Wealth Management, you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring your team's work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.
Job responsibilities
- Apply of Pre-Trade rules.
- Apply Pricing, closing and booking sequences.
- Apply Murex Accounting rules, static accounts, scripts. Static data set up (counterparty, portfolio, etc).
- Analyze various logs and understanding of Murex services. Knowledge of MX open connect is an advantage.
- Provide End of day support. Proficiency in SQL, Unix.
- Use Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Work with flexibility, in a culture based on trust.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability.
- Proficient in coding in XSLT on Murex.
- Has In-Depth knowledge of Murex MxMLExchange, Data dictionary Formulae, Tasks, Templates.
- Has In-Depth knowledge of Datamart module, dynamic tables, feeders. Extractions, processing scripts.
- Access rights, STP rights, OSP management, Global Operating Model set up.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline.

- Familiarity with Derivatives business
- Exposure to stakeholders management
