ROLE SUMMARY:
The Sr. Manager is responsible for the progression, health & impact of the Sponsorship / Partnership measurement program within the US. The Sr. Manager develops cross-functional synergies, formulating integrated processes with measurement leads, sport marketing, entertainment, brand & agency teams to optimize our Sponsorship efforts built around data-driven learnings.
The Sr. Manager will lead & oversee exhaustive Connections Measurement for Busch Light & Budweiser. The Sr. Manager will lead Bud Light Super Bowl measurement efforts. The Sr. Manager will pair acumen across all Connections touchpoints, available datasets (including Competitive) and cross-functional inputs to garner holistic optimization recommendations for the brands.
The Sr. Manager will act as a critical SME not just within Connections, but in tandem across Insights, Intelligence, Analytics & Technology functions to ensure AB’s measurement program continues to evolve & progress. This includes ownership of the broader Partnership & Experiential measurement framework. The Sr. Manager reports directly to the VP, Connections SPF, and will participate in all capability development & performance review processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Performance Communication: Deliver digital performance in the form of reports, dashboards, or emails that convey the results in a way that explains what happened, why it happened, and what we do next.
· Marketing Analytics Best-Practice Sharing: Train brand teams on leveraging marketing data and implementing best practice processes. Act as advisor and connect these teams with additional resources that may be helpful for their needs.
· Inter-departmental Collaboration: Work with cross-functional departments to implement social analysis for research/projects/campaigns/events and present insights back to inform strategic decisions.
· Newsroom and Trend Identification: Lead weekly newsroom meetings to inform brands of cultural trends and insights around key calendar moments.
· Ad Hoc Social Listening Research: Social listening tool setup (including keywords, Boolean query parameters and dashboards) and analysis. Pull and interpret data from social listening tools including volume, sentiment, conversation drivers, influencers, etc. Take initiative on refinement of query parameter setup to ensure accurate and insightful mention analysis is available to report on by the end of the reporting period.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· Data Analysis: Highly analytical with proven experience in gathering data, performing analysis, and developing in-depth insights/recommendations.
· Data Communication: The ability to dive into the ‘why’ behind the data and simply findings into concise, action oriented key findings instead of just reporting on the numbers.
· Data Visualization: Proficient in data visualization, preferably in one of the following tools: Looker, Tableau, DOMO, BI.
· Data Technology: Must be proficient in Excel and with demonstrated ability to organize and consolidate multiple data sources for analysis.
· Data Language: Boolean a must, programming languages help.
· Social Media Marketing: Experience using social listening and analytic platforms such as Crimson Hexagon, Sprinklr, and platform agnostic analytics. Strong familiarity and understanding in social media platforms and innovations such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, and Pinterest required.
· Research: Must be a naturally curious and inquisitive person when it comes to data.
· Familiarity with programmatic data, website data, sales data, TV ratings, and influencers a plus.
· 2-5 years of professional experience in marketing/business analytics, statistical analysis, consumer insights, predictive modeling or segmentation, or social media setting.
· Bachelor’s Degree required (Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, and Finance focus preferred)
