We are looking for a Manager, ServiceNow Platform to join our internal IT team and oversee the execution of projects and service delivery for our ServiceNow platform. What you’ll be doing:
- Enhancement Intake & Review: Review incoming enhancements, determine next steps, and keep requesters informed of statuses
- Backlog Refinement and Prioritization: Meet with Product Owners and stakeholders to validate and prioritize enhancements and establish detailed requirements
- Sprint Leadership: Run standups, manage sprint schedules, lead sprint planning and deployment, and create release notes
- Development Team Oversight: Monitor development progress, engage additional developers as needed, and manage story pointing and capacity
- Platform Governance: Drive best practices for solution architecture, ensure product alignment, and manage adherence to upgrade standards
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline support and enhancement processes
- General Platform Management: Oversee ITSM request intake and workflow development; facilitate software customizations, roll out new features, and maintain platform alignment with business needs; communicate project updates and recommend integration opportunities
What you’ll bring to the table:
Experience

3-5 years of relevant experience in leading ServiceNow tool implementations

Strong experience with ServiceNow scripting, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and workflow administration

Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development tools, release/version control, and testing methodologies

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, HRSD, and SPM

Previous experience managing a team of developers is preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

In-depth understanding of business objectives and the ability to align technology strategies to meet them

Self-motivated and capable of working independently to achieve goals

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

Proven ability to lead sprint ceremonies, manage development capacity, and ensure platform governance

Education & Certifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator plus at least one ServiceNow CIS certification

Note: Base salary range is $110,000 CAN to $140,000 CAN. This range represents the expected compensation for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range when taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
