Job Description

We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineering Leader to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving our software development efforts, leading a team of talented engineers and shaping the future of our technology stack. Our team is focused on delivering an integration broker and data migration tools to address the integration and data migration needs of our customers

As a member of the product area’s leadership team you will take active part in driving and delivering on the vision of the product area, aligning with the overall company vision and mission. If you are a visionary and natural leader with a proven track record in software engineering, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of talented software engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Recruit and onboard new coworkers, perform appraisals and set salaries.
• Collaborate with product managers, program managers and other stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.
• Provide knowledge and insight in DevOps and Agile practices.
• Lead efforts to optimize and scale our software development infrastructure for improved performance and reliability.

Qualifications

To be a successful Software Engineering Leader at IFS your mindset will be the key factor. We expect you to:

• Hold a university degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Have a strong software engineering background with minimum 10 years’ experience.
• Good understanding of how integration brokers and relational databases work.
• Previous hands-on experience working with with Oracle and PLSQL and/or integration brokers would be advantageous
• Possess strong leadership skills, with a proven track record in operation and/or line management.
• Focus on customer value.
• Be proactive, drive and take ownership.
• Be communicative and have a yes we can attitude.
• Be a role model in words and actions.
