About the Role
We are currently looking for a Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing R&D and Government Incentives team in Adelaide. This role goes beyond technical delivery - it's a strategic opportunity to help shape the future of the practice, influence team culture, and collaborate closely with a committed Partner to drive innovation and long-term growth.
We work with companies in agribusiness, manufacturing, software and life science industries to maximise their government R&D funding through consultation and business process planning. Working with a variety of clients and industries will give you the chance to grow your technical skills and build confidence in consulting, leadership, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with clients to identify and maximise opportunities for government grants and tax incentives based on their innovative technology activities
Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide exceptional levels of client service
Apply the law to identify and scope eligible R&D activities and expenditure for an organisation
Act as the primary contact for finance and technical personnel to collate information and build successful relationships
Review project technical and expenditure workpapers in line with our quality processes
Document and/or supervise the documentation of R&D activity in accordance with guidelines
Support the development of junior team members
About You
5+ years’ experience in R&D consulting, preferably in Big 4 or Mid-tier environment
Demonstrated stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and collaborate with the team to deliver results
Ability to synthesize and communicate complex technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders
Strong problem-solving abilities with an interest in innovation and a growth mindset
