About the job:
This role serves as the regional strategic execution lead, responsible for defining and executing Stryker APAC Neurovascular (NV) strategic initiatives into coherent, executable and measurable programs that drive market-leading growth. This encompasses leadership of cross-functional / cross-country complex strategic project initiatives that have significant impact on our growth aspirations. This role will need to foster a culture of excellence in project delivery across the organization and will operate with a high degree of autonomy.
What you will be doing:
Strategic Projects
- Lead APAC NV initiatives in collaboration with APAC Leadership Team (APLT), APAC BD & Strategy and country teams. Examples include any globalization or APAC related initiatives
- Identify and execute high impact cross-functional and/or cross-country strategic projects that drive revenue growth, improve margins or are foundational capability required for Stryker’s future growth. Examples include cross-functional and/or multi-markets commercial projects and go-to-market reviews
- Develop business case with clear and measurable targets for growth / major initiatives to secure necessary investments
- Work with relevant senior leadership stakeholders to drive initiative execution success
- Partner APLT to prioritize projects that deliver maximum business value.
- Execute projects based on identified and agreed milestones and timelines.
Establish regional PMO (Project Management Office) capability
- Define, implement, and continuously evolve the PMO strategy, methodology, standards and toolkits to support the NV APAC’s growth and complexity.
- Introduce best practices, and implement a consistent and scalable PMO governance structure, tools and methodologies to ensure successful execution and accountability
- Progress PMO capability and governance across APAC markets
- Collaborate with Stryker Global NV PMO as well as other regional franchise PMO teams to drive project management excellence and make PMO a competitive advantage for Stryker
- Champion consistency and excellence across all initiatives
Who are we looking for:
- 7-10+ years of relevant experience in project management, PMO consulting, business transformation, ideally within MedTech, Life Sciences or Healthcare sectors
- Proven experience leading complex regional projects and cross-functional teams in matrix environment to deliver tangible and measurable outcomes
- Strong knowledge of APAC Medtech and healthcare industry including market dynamics and regulatory considerations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Science, or Engineering from a top-tier institution or equivalent graduate degree
