Role Scope
This role will report operationally to the Onshore Business Development Head.
The individual will support sales activities but will not be expected to attend US customer meetings.
The role will focus on opportunity creation, meeting generation, prospect engagement, and marketing campaign support.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Pipeline and Meeting Generation
Execute targeted outbound prospecting campaigns to generate qualified sales meetings.
Identify, engage, and nurture prospective clients across target industries.
Conduct research to uncover potential opportunities within existing and new accounts.
Support pipeline development by identifying client needs and qualifying opportunities.
Webinar and Marketing Campaign Support
Promote Oracle-focused webinars and marketing initiatives.
Drive webinar registrations and attendance through coordinated outreach efforts.
Assist in follow-up activities related to webinars and marketing events.
Ensure outreach efforts are structured and coordinated to avoid audience fatigue and duplicate communications.
Prospecting Activities
Execute outbound email campaigns.
Conduct LinkedIn-based prospecting and engagement.
Perform event and webinar follow-up activities.
Support partner channel prospecting initiatives.
Conduct cold-calling activities, particularly in support of partner channel engagement and opportunity identification.
Communication and Coordination
Draft professional outreach emails and communications targeted at executive and business audiences.
Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and communicate updates, notes, and opportunity insights to the onshore sales team.
Collaborate closely with the Onshore BDA Manager and Sales Teams to ensure seamless information flow and follow-up.
Market and Industry Awareness
Develop knowledge of Oracle solutions and client challenges across key target industries, including:
Hospitality & Gaming
Industrial Manufacturing
Consumer Products
Communications, Media & Entertainment
Professional Services (including Engineering & Construction)
Retail
Life Sciences
Collaboration & Coordination
Align closely with onshore practice leaders, pre-sales teams, and alliance partners
Act as a liaison between offshore and onshore stakeholders

To qualify for the role, candidate must have:
Essential Skills
8+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales Support, or Inside Sales
Experience supporting US-based sales teams, preferably in the technology or Oracle ecosystem is a major plus.
Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and lead lifecycle management
Excellent research and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal English communication skills (mandatory for US stakeholder interaction)
Strong executive-level email drafting and outreach capabilities.
Business acumen with the ability to understand client challenges and value propositions.
Demonstrated prospecting and lead generation skills.
Strong organizational and follow-up capabilities.
Self-starter with a proactive, hunter-oriented mindset.
Ability to work effectively with offshore and onshore teams.
Preferred Experience
Experience in business development, inside sales, lead generation, or demand generation roles.
Exposure to Oracle consulting, ERP, cloud solutions, managed services, or enterprise technology services.
Understanding of consulting services sales and solution positioning.
Familiarity with one or more of the target industries listed above.
Technical Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools is a plus.
CRM experience is beneficial but not required. Salesforce experience is not required for this role.
