The Role
Company Description

Order.co is on a mission to simplify buying for businesses. We believe that it’s not just about what you buy, but how you buy it. Today’s purchase-to-pay process is riddled with complexity and missed opportunities for leverage. Our goal is to highlight that leverage through the use of our platform.

Order.co eliminates manual purchasing and payment tasks and gives your team one place to purchase, approve, track and pay for all the goods and services your business needs. With customizable budgets and reporting, operations and finance teams can take back control over the buying process and start saving time, saving money, and gaining clarity in how they buy.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in New York City, Order.co oversees nearly half a billion dollars in annualized spend across hundreds of customers like WeWork, SoulCycle, and Lume. Order.co has raised $50M in funding from industry-leading investors like MIT, Stage 2 Capital, Rally Ventures, 645 Ventures, and more. Order.co has been proudly named as a 50 to Watch by Spend Matters and a Best Place to Work by BuiltIn.

As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a strategic and analytical Manager / Senior Manager of FP&A to join our finance team and help guide key financial and business decisions.

Job Description

As Manager / Senior Manager, FP&A, you will play a critical role in driving insight, discipline, and decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance and FP&A, you’ll build and manage forecasting models, support operational planning, and deliver data-driven insights to senior leadership.

You’ll lead analysis on the company’s top- and bottom-line performance, owning the models and processes that support financial planning and strategic initiatives—including revenue forecasting, headcount planning, and cash management. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence the trajectory of a fast-paced startup.

What You’ll Do

  •  Support company-wide forecasting and budgeting processes, including revenue modeling (e.g., spend on platform, take rate, margins) and expense planning (e.g., payroll, operating expenses)

  • Partner with functional leaders to track performance against budgets and KPIs, and make data-driven recommendations

  • Build and maintain robust financial models and dashboards to support real-time decision-making

  • Deliver regular reporting to the executive team and board, providing insight into financial and operational performance

  • Support corporate finance initiatives including cash flow forecasting, fundraising readiness, and M&A evaluation

  • Improve financial infrastructure by enhancing planning tools, processes, and reporting systems

Qualifications

  • 3-5 / 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or a related finance role; startup, SaaS and/or subscription experience strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; you can build from scratch and scale existing models

  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, unit economics, and usage-based pricing models

  • Proven track record of partnering cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at all levels

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to distill complex data into compelling insights

  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides; familiarity with Metabase or other BI tools is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA a plus but not required

Additional Information

What you'll receive

  • The chance to join a mission-driven team transforming B2B commerce, be part of a high-growth, venture-backed SaaS company with a collaborative culture, and work in a flexible hybrid environment with a beautiful NYC office

  • A competitive compensation package as well as stock options
  • Robust medical, dental, vision, and wellness benefits
  • Flexible time off and remote work policies
  • Generous leave policies and support for new and current parents
  • Employer-sponsored 401(k), including an employer match

The anticipated base salary for this role is $110k - $140k. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
