Job Title : Manager / Senior Manager - Electrical Engineer

Purpose of the Position :
- The position is responsible for engineering design, project execution, technical coordination, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards, safety requirements, project schedules, and budgets.
- The role requires extensive experience in electrical system design, procurement support, project execution, commissioning, and stakeholder management across EPC, industrial, manufacturing for medium investment and / or medium risk projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead electrical engineering activities throughout project lifecycles from conceptual design through commissioning and handover.
- Develop and review electrical engineering deliverables including SLD, load lists, cable schedules, cable routing, Earthing n Lightening protection, substation layouts, MCCs.
- Review and approve electrical equipment specifications and datasheets.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian and international standards and local statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, instrumentation, process, and automation engineers.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify technical and execution risks.
- Support project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control activities.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide engineering expertise.
- Prepare technical specifications and conduct technical bid evaluations and vendor assessments.
- Review vendor drawings, documents, and manufacturing details.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve technical and commercial issues.
- Supervise electrical testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure safe energization and startup of electrical systems.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during project execution.
- Ensure adherence to project quality standards and engineering best practices.
- Promote a strong safety culture and compliance with EHS requirements.
- Ensure documentation and project records are maintained accurately.
- Experience with HT/LT systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, UPS systems, and power distribution networks.
- Exposure to project commissioning and startup activities is essential.
Education & Experience required :
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the chemical industry, including significant exposure to the planning, execution, and commissioning of greenfield projects.
Mobility Requirement: Candidate should be flexible and comfortable with relocation, as well as frequent travel between Thane and Jhagadia, as required for project execution and business needs.
