JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Employee Benefits Broker to join our Hong Kong team, serving a diverse portfolio of corporate and commercial clients across multiple industries. This role is ideal for professionals with strong market knowledge and a passion for delivering tailored risk solutions. You will be responsible for business development, client servicing, and placement across various lines of insurance.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate clients, providing strategic risk advisory and insurance placement services.
Identify new business opportunities through market intelligence, networking, and referrals.
Conduct risk assessments and gather underwriting information to support optimal coverage recommendations.
Prepare and present insurance proposals, negotiate terms with insurers, and ensure timely placement.
Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims support, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
Maintain strong relationships with insurers and other stakeholders to ensure competitive and comprehensive solutions.
Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
Contribute to team development by mentoring junior staff and sharing best practices.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
Bachelor’s degree holder, with insurance qualifications to practice as an insurance broker in Hong Kong (i.e. IIQE Paper 1 & 2) is a must.
Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance broking or risk advisory, preferably with exposure to corporate clients.
Strong understanding of employee benefits products etc.
Proven ability in client relationship management and business development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.
