Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight to the Palo Alto CoE projects and deliverables
- Accountable for deliverables of security engineering and automation projects and initiatives in XSIAM, Endpoint, DevSecOps, Vulnerability Management, Identity Management and AWS cloud.
- Drive the teams for process automation and innovation leveraging technology solutions
- Coach and ensure training for the teams to perform their job functions
- Provides overall direction, oversight, and coaching for a team of entry-level to mid-level security engineers
- Ensures successful collaboration across teams and stakeholders within and outside information security organizations
Skills, Experience and Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in managing information security projects across multiple domains
- Must have executed projects in Agile methodology
- Hands-on programming experience in Python and strong background in Data Engineering - ETL, Data Analytics, Dashboard development, data pipeline development & understanding of ML concepts. Good understanding of software engineering is a must.
- Experience leading teams of engineers that deliver engineering solutions, breaking down tasks, prioritizing and managing resources effectively
- Experience in security engineering projects specifically in AWS cloud, Palo Alto technologies (XSIAM, XOAR, XDR), Tenable, DevSecOps tools (Snyk) will be a plus
- Ability to guide and coach teams to achieve goals aligned against set strategic objectives
- Preferable to have Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM
- Must have ability to work with vendors / service providers in engineering projects in partnership approach
