Descriptions of Key Responsibilities/ Tasks:
- To perform the most challenging tasks in the area of sea cargo shipments, booking and delivering of shipments
- To make decisions on FCL/LCL development strategies ( inbound & outbound trades) on country level
- To maintain agents relationship in accordance with company policy
- To create SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)
- To handle pricing & calculation and make offers to customers
- To coordinate and work close with local sales teams, special sales actions
- To accept offers and optimizes the organization of transport
- To be responsible for monthly results of the department
- To monitor KPI for the department
- To select service provider and monitor the cost
- To handle daily operations for project shipments and VIP accounts
- To monitor the completion of procedure for dispatching and delivering of shipments (entering electronic data, cover of insurance etc.)
- To monitor timely invoicing and payments
- To monitor the keeping of budget lines
- To develop improvement initiatives of continuous business success
- To make analysis of request (credit worthiness of the Company)
- To set target with the department and monitor the achievement
- To provide customer service and keep contact with agents
- To adjust complaints – Trouble Shooting
- To handle claims together with legal department
- to issue obligatory instruction, directives and information in his/her field of responsibility and monitor compliance and performance
- To be responsible for personnel leadership within the department
- To coordinate within the department and with other departments and countries within the Company
- To train and mentor high potentials in operations and sales
- To take up additional assignments/tasks as required to meet with the Company needs.
Minimum Education /Qualifications/Experience:
University degree in Business Administration/ Logistics or equivalent with relevant and at least 8 years industrial experience of which 4 years must be in managerial positions
Special Knowledge:
Computer basic knowledge, MS Office
AS400 – comprehensive user know-how
S.P.O.T. know-how and ability to demonstrate
Cargowise user
English language
Mandarin language
