Role Reports to: Director Sales (Sub - region Africa)
Overall Job Purpose:
Enable digital growth across the sales ecosystem in Sub-Region Africa by driving adoption of digital tools, data-driven processes, and best practices. Lead and coordinate sales-related projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment, effective execution, and continuous improvement in sales capabilities and customer engagement across markets.
Responsibilities
- Support the regional digital team in driving the adoption and effective use of digital sales tools across Sub-Region Africa.
- Lead and coordinate sales-related projects end-to-end, ensuring alignment with regional priorities and consistent execution across Sub-Region Africa.
- Act as the central coordinator for Steer Co activities, ensuring alignment of stakeholders, timely preparation of materials, and clear follow-up on actions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize sales processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen overall sales operations.
- Act as the entry point for niche products in Sub-Region Africa, coordinating closely with regional teams to support market activation and growth initiatives.
University degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, Marketing or related field preferred
- > 5 years work experience in International Shipping Companies or other Multinationals.
- 8-12+ years in Commercial Excellence, Sales Effectiveness, Product Management, Business Development, or Commercial Strategy.
- Proven success driving adoption of commercial tools, products, or business initiatives across multiple markets.
- Experience developing growth strategies for products, customer segments, or commercial programs.
- Strong exposure to market intelligence, segmentation, customer acquisition, and commercial analytics.
- Experience operating across regions and functions in a matrix environment.
Advanced English. Other languages desirable. Industry knowledge (shipping).
