Overview:  Inovalon seeks a Manager Business Sales Operations/Salesforce Administrator who will be participating in key business driver visibility development and expansion. The Manager Business Sales Operations will work directly with senior sales leaders and the SVP Sales, in a sales and data-driven organization, to create actionable initiatives that will optimize sales productivity and drive key metrics. Working cross-functionally with operations, finance, technology, pricing and with sales leaders, the Manager Business Sales Operations will manage and track the full suite of the KPI’s and ensure the business stakeholders has the tracking data to make sound business decisions and/or identify the gaps in business operations data analysis to improve efforts of generating profitable revenue.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage, monitor, and report the execution of sales financial key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver actionable insights to sales leadership to achieve optimal results;
  • Lead reoccurring and ad-hoc analysis to communicate performance targets and operational activity;
  • Partner with senior management on key business metrics and operational decisions;
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company and with cross-functional teams;
  • Manage and oversee daily sales operations processes for the team, including quarterly and annual goal setting;
  • Support financial analysis, commit cycle, sales plan, business modeling and ad hoc sales project and initiatives;
  • Acts as liaison, implementing key processes for the Sales operations team to ensure alignment with market projections and with the functional teams (e.g. Sales, Finance, Pricing, IT, etc.); - Assumes a hands-on leadership role in closing timing gaps working closely with senior business leaders to relay strategic direction, problem solve, and drive execution;
  • Provide leadership, oversight and management of the development and deployment of real-time dynamic, business operations analytics delivering visibility and insight into business operations;
  • Collaborate closely with Inside/Outside Sales, Finance, and Pricing to improve forecasting efforts, stay on target, and assess new business opportunities;
  • Prepares executive level operations productivity-metrics presentations as requested;
  • Develop a keen understanding of all sources of sales operations data and partner with IT to optimize how data is effectively utilized across the organization;
  • Perform ad hoc and recurring inside and outside sales analyses across all geographies to monitor day to day operational effectiveness of key activities;
  • Works collaboratively with members of the sales team and other departments to ensure analytics goals, processes are understood and to build alignment w/key stakeholders to work toward company goals; and
  • Drive operational excellence through completion in the Sales organization through identification and execution of opportunity areas that produce efficiency, remove obstacles, and create improved processes and approaches to the business.
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company;

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, business management, technology or relevant experience;
  • Salesforce Admin. experience is required (Certification a plus);
  • Highly analytical and attention to detail;
  • Ability to lead and support operations and communicate with regional sales leadership teams;
  • Proven experience in outcomes, process and/or deal value, analysis, metrics, sales and business;
  • Experience with business technologies, databases a plus;
  • Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (operational, organizational);
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills at all levels of the organization;
  • Demonstrated effective Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills;
  • Strong project management skills and experience. Ability to keep track of timelines and deliverables work under firm deadlines within a rapidly changing environment involving multiple projects and initiatives;
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills; and
  • Proven computer and analytical skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Statistical Analysis tools, databases a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations, Technology or equivalent experience
  • MBA a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
  • Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally usually for training purposes.
