JOB FAMILY SUMMARY:

The Sales Development team is responsible for building outbound pipeline in accordance with the company strategy, booking meetings for Account Executives, and being an ambassador of the Monograph brand. This role will be 100% remote to start, but you must be located in the Phoenix, AZ area. 

JOB SUMMARY:

The SDR Manager plays a critical role in our sales organization by recruiting, inspiring, training and leading a team of SDRs to success. You will help shape the development of our SDR program and drive the team to deliver results for overall sales and company success. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years SaaS sales experience, plus 2+ years experience managing an SDR team
  • Passionate about managing and growing a team of sales professionals
  • Track record of building great teams and sales environments
  • Experience leading teams to consistent overachievement of quota attainment
  • Knowledge of different sales methodologies and a curiosity to be proactive and creative in  new and different methods to reach success
  • Analytical acumen, strong at identifying growth opportunities using data
  • Demonstrable experience in demand generation and lead flow management
  • Drive to improve sales efficiency and performance
  • Experience working with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Gong and business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau
  • Revenue obsessed
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and rapidly prioritize and adapt to changing initiatives
  • Possess a startup mentality - moving quickly, thinking strategically, and motivated to go above and beyond
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, written and listening communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally across sales, customer experience, marketing, operations and product departments.
  • Proven track record of managing a remote SDR team

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hire, coach and develop early-in-career sales talent
  • Inspire, lead, coach and engage the SDR team to consistently overachieve targets
  • Provide career development to accelerate career progression
  • Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate and align with Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations and Talent Acquisition to drive the revenue growth and talent pipeline for the business 
  • Consistently innovate to keep the team’s processes and methodologies agile and ahead of the market
  • Be an ambassador of the Monograph culture and values
  • All other duties as assigned.

SCOPE OF SUPERVISION/AUTHORITY:

Duties are performed under limited supervision. Often responsible for planning and organizing their own work, which may or may not be directly related to general business operations of the company or its customers. Will receive training and guidance from their manager as needed. Individual contributors may be required to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance depending on the nature of the position. 

LOCATION:

This is a remote position and candidates must have access to reliable high-speed internet. We’re hiring for this role in Phoenix, AZ, though we don’t yet have a physical office there. However, future travel to an office location may be required.
