The Role
We are seeking a high-impact, data-driven SDR Manager to lead our Sales Development team within the Franchise and Independent Dealer segment. Based in our Westlake, Texas office, you will be the architect of our top-of-funnel engine. You are responsible for leading a team that serves as the first point of contact for Solera—creating powerful first impressions and generating a consistent, high-quality pipeline.
You will lead a team of SDRs tasked with both capturing inbound interest and executing aggressive cold outbound strategies to pique interest in our industry-leading software solutions. The ideal leader has a deep understanding of the franchise and independent dealer landscape and the "speed of trust" required to move prospects from a cold call to a Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO).
What You’ll Do
- Outbound Leadership & Coaching: Lead a team responsible for high-volume outbound calling (75+ activities daily per SDR). You will set the standard through hands-on call coaching, live execution, and daily "pit" leadership.
- Pipeline & SAO Ownership: Take direct accountability for the team’s ability to generate SAOs for the AEs monthly, and ensure ACV generated from this team goes closed/won in a timely manner.
- Campaign Execution: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Sales to define campaign focus and build demand lists. You will ensure SDR and AE activity is directed at the highest-probability "White Space".
- SLA & Process Discipline: Enforce strict "Speed-to-Lead" response times for inbound leads, web forms, call backs and high-intent referrals. Ensure the team adheres to Solera Lead & Opportunity Management processes and value-selling methodologies.
- Data & CRM Ownership: Maintain 100% CRM hygiene. You will own the reporting and analysis of team performance, ensuring closed-loop metric reporting and total visibility into pipeline health for GTM leadership.
- Talent Development: Identify, recruit, and onboard new SDR talent. You will be responsible for the rapid ramp-up of new hires, instilling elite habits in outbound prospecting, discovery, and objection handling.
What You’ll Bring
- Franchise and Independent Dealer Expertise: Proven track record navigating the Dealer landscape with an understanding of dealer objectives, inventory velocity, and the tech stack (DMS, CRM).
- Strategic Market Familiarity: Ability to lead a team against a defined territory strategy, prioritizing dealers to maximize market coverage.
- Competitive Intelligence: Experience articulating value against low-cost competitors (Adams/Frazier) and feature-heavy platforms (DealerCenter) to protect our $7,100 ASP floor.
- High-Velocity Management: Experience managing teams in a high-activity environment (75+ calls/day) while maintaining a focus on quality and conversion (connect rate and SQL-to-SAO conversion).
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of CRM tools (Salesforce) and Sales Engagement platforms (Outreach) to drive automated sequencing and AI-driven insights.
- Leadership Presence: Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build "Speed of Trust" within a new, fast-growing team.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Successful track record as an SDR Manager, Account Executive, or Sales Representative, preferably within the automotive or vehicle repair industry.
- Industry Acumen: Strong understanding of the automotive repair industry and the specific operational challenges faced by independent repair shops.
- Sales Excellence: Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced B2B environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal, written, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly understand and communicate complex technical information regarding DMS, CRM, and inventory management platforms.
- Mindset: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently while fostering a high-trust team environment.
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and modern sales engagement tools (Outreach).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
