The Wonderful Company Wine division, consisting of JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery (Paso Robles), Lewis Cellars (Napa Valley), and Landmark Vineyards (Sonoma), is seeking a Manager, Sales Analytics and Reporting to be responsible for providing best-in-class insights in sales analysis, demand planning, pricing, and inventory management. This newly created role collaborates with key leaders across the organization, including the President, Senior Vice President of Sales, Director of Marketing, and AVP Finance & Strategy, to present reports and data analysis to enhance profitability and growth.

Job Description
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for all VIP data related tasks across the wine business functions, ensuring full command of master data management, VIP tools and applications and data quality
- Effectively utilize and manage VIP applications such as Price 2.0, iDIG, KARMA, Circana and other tools as needed including the ability to:
- Leverage Outlet Cleansing within iDIG reports and chain hierarchy
- Manage accounts in KARMA, adding and reviewing for accuracy
- Customize and report on the Brand Finder widget through the VIP web-based app
- Provide in-depth sales analysis using industry, category, market, distributor, retailer, and brand performance data from both internal and external sources
- Design and maintain standardized reports and tools for consistent messaging across markets, while allowing customization for specific audiences
- Lead the sales forecasting and demand planning processes to drive fact-based decision-making
- Work closely with internal and external Business Intelligence (BI) teams to provide top-tier analytics to the Executive, Sales, Financial, and Production teams
- Partner with Sales to manage, model, and improve the global pricing database ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and availability to all stakeholders
- Verify that pricing deals align with brand guidelines, financial objectives, and market-specific business practices
- Serve as the primary point of contact for market data vendors, including scan, vendor, and depletions data providers
- Develop and maintain a dynamic inventory model integrated with sales forecasting and demand planning
- Support the Sales team during the annual planning cycle by integrating volume, revenue, price support, COGS, and promotional spend into geographically and portfolio-specific templates
- Foster a culture of innovation by seeking out new data sources, processes, and technologies to advance analytics capabilities
- Train Sales and Administrative teams on the use of analytics tools and systems, including VIP (Price 2.0, iDIG, Karma) and Circana data
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of sales analytics experience in the wine industry or alcohol sector, with strong familiarity with distributor sales channels and platforms
- Strong understanding of the three-tier distribution system and experience with shipment, depletion, and scan data reporting
- Demonstrated expertise in VIP systems (Price 2.0, iDIG, Karma) and Circana data with the ability to explain the data and train other team members on the system usage
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
- Expert knowledge of developing database queries, query optimization, creating views, and stored procedures
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Systems and Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, executive presentation, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Robust and meticulous problem solving and systematic thinking, with a keen eye for continuous improvement in processes and deliverables
- Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast paced, cross functional team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
Pay Range: $120,000 - $135,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
