Summary
This role is based on-site at our World Headquarters in Springdale, AR.
This position is responsible for managing fresh beef and branded product sales across a multi-opco network through effective order management, inventory optimization, customer support, and cross-functional coordination. The role oversees high-volume order execution, inventory allocations, and demand planning while partnering closely with customers, product managers, transportation, pricing, and scheduling teams to ensure product availability and service excellence. Success in this role requires strong analytical, organizational, and relationship management skills to balance customer demand, optimize inventory performance, identify sales opportunities, and drive profitable growth.
Responsibilities
Drive sales growth while maintaining strong customer relationships, service levels, and operational performance.
Manage fresh beef and branded product sales across a multi-opco customer network, serving as a strategic partner to customers and internal stakeholders.
Make inventory allocation and supply management decisions that balance customer demand, service levels, and business objectives.
Lead high-volume order management activities, ensuring accurate execution, pricing, and fulfillment while identifying process improvement opportunities.
Analyze inventory, sales, and operational performance data to identify risks, inform business decisions, and drive profitable growth.
Develop and execute strategies to optimize inventory performance, reduce excess product, and capitalize on sales opportunities.
Forecast inventory and supply needs, proactively communicating market trends, constraints, and opportunities to customers and internal partners.
Collaborate cross-functionally with pricing, scheduling, transportation, and operations teams to resolve complex issues and support business objectives.
Drive customer satisfaction and business performance through effective relationship management, problem-solving, and independent decision-making.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience required, with at least 2 years of industry sales experience preferred. In lieu of a degree, 5 years of industry sales experience is required.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business systems.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage customers, internal partners, and leadership.
Special Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Travel: Minimal travel required.
