As a Manager, Risk Operations, you'll lead a team focused on protecting our customers and business at a pivotal point in the payments lifecycle. You'll drive withdrawal risk mitigation efforts, manage daily operations, and collaborate across Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Analytics to scale our risk controls. With strong judgment and a data-driven mindset, you'll shape both the tactical execution and long-term strategy of how we approach withdrawal operations at DraftKings.
What you'll do
- Lead and develop a team of Team Leads, Specialists, and frontline associates focused on withdrawal risk operations.
- Manage daily workflows, balancing fraud prevention, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Translate operational insights into clear requirements for tooling, policy, and process enhancements.
- Use dashboards and metrics to track performance, surface trends, and guide data-informed decisions.
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years of experience in Payments, Risk Operations, Fraud, or Financial Operations, including 2+ years managing people.
- Deep understanding of withdrawal and payment risk concepts (ACH, cards, KYC, AML, chargebacks).
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams.
- Data fluency and proficiency with dashboards or tools such as SQL to drive insight and performance.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 91,200.00 USD - 114,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
