Job DescriptionTo lead and ensure optimal performance and reporting of the Business and Commercial’s credit portfolio, that the allocated portfolio performs within risk appetite, budgets are set appropriately and that strategic portfolio decisions are optimised across the 14 countries in Africa Regions.
Drive effective execution of the credit risk strategy and framework in line with the risk appetite statements, the Group Credit Risk Governance Standard and Global Credit Policy.
To provide leadership, support and quality assurance to the team to execute all Credit Risk process activities in order to manage risk, achieve targets and align to best practices.
QualificationsType of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Mathematical/ Business Sciences/ Finance/Accounting is essential.
Type of Qualification : Post Graduate Degree
Field of Study : Mathematical/ Business Sciences/ Finance/Accounting is preferred.

8-10 yearsThe role requires an individual with a proven capability leading people across the full dimension of the Credit Risk field, including originations, evaluation, account management, collections and payments. Banking experience, portfolio analysis and/or credit risk management. Legal, Regulatory, Compliance proficiency in supervising and managing fore closure process.
